Jeff Wyndham, Service Manager at Pair Bistro, was inspired last year when he saw the festival's street banners festooned along Burrard Street Bridge and created The Cherry Blossom Martini. This Spring, proprietors Janis and Todd Hodgins will generously host an intimate, fun, fund raising event, entitled The Pink Tie Affair to benefit the blossoms and celebrate the city coming into bloom. Pair Bistro will present an appetizing cherry blossom tasting menu featuring The Cherry Blossom Martini.

The festival will present an entertaining and delectable array of seasonal silent auction items and themed door prizes, including freshly painted plein-air blossom paintings. Think cherry blossoms; wear pink and be sure to make your reservations early for this upcoming event. Pair Bistro has a tradition in the neighborhood of filling up quickly!
